Dear Rose,

If there is one student whose story I know I will continue sharing with future generations of students, it is yours.

You are without question one of the most hardworking, resilient, and dedicated students I have ever taught. Your ability to persevere, adapt, and deliver excellent results no matter what challenges appeared along the way has always amazed me.

You have an incredible combination of determination and endurance. Somehow, you always managed to handle impossible deadlines, countless responsibilities, unexpected changes, and endless requests, yet still produce work that exceeded expectations. It is a talent that very few people possess.

Thank you not only for everything you contributed academically, but also for your kindness. I will never forget that during your internship, you even took care of my parents. That level of thoughtfulness means more than you know.

I also owe you an apology and a thank you for patiently enduring my endless stream of strange ideas, unexpected requests, and last-minute plans. Looking back, we really did a lot of crazy things together—probably enough material for an entire documentary.

What makes me happiest is not just what we accomplished, but the memories we created along the way.

We worked hard.

We laughed a lot.

We occasionally lost control.

And somehow, you were usually the one who ended up crying while the rest of us kept moving forward.

Through all of it, you remained strong, dependable, and committed.

I am incredibly grateful that you were one of my closest companions throughout this journey. You brought so many wonderful moments to the first generation of students in our program, and those memories will stay with me for a very long time.

As you explore this exciting new chapter in home nursing and healthcare leadership, I hope you continue believing in yourself. The future will undoubtedly present challenges, but if anyone can overcome them through persistence and effort, it is you.

Most importantly, I hope this is not the end of our journey together.

I hope we will continue finding opportunities to grow, work, dream, and change the things that matter to us.
